EVENTS EXPLAINED
On the Beat Street Dance Competitions!

Everyone is welcome and catered for at their competitions, from complete Street Dance beginners who may only take part in a once a week hobby class to an established competitive dancer. The varied level, pre-choreographed set street routines enable dancers to compete within their own ability range and age.
Trophies are presented to all finalists in each category, and each competition has an independent panel of expert adjudicators with their marks analysed by a fully qualified scrutineer.
Dancers *do not* need to attend any extra rehearsals to compete but yet learn their routines in their weekly classes. We invite every dancer to take part in these competitions.
All tickets for dancers and spectators for these events are ordered through me.
Flash Mob!
Opportunity for our Performance Team to perform in St George’s Shopping Centre, Preston. To be considered for the performance team a dancer must take part in two of the following weekly classes – Ballet, Modern, Lyrical,
Jazz, Acrobatics (the classical dance styles) and pass through an “audition” style class.

These events cater for brand new dancers, up to advanced levels. Giving everyone the opportunity to share dance with each other. Much like the street dance competitions, students will learn varied level, pre-choreographed set
lyrical or jazz routines which enables dancers to compete within their own ability range and age.

Chance2Dance – Drayton Manor / Alton Towers!
The opportunity to enjoy a day out at Alton Towers Resort or Drayton Manor Theme Park, as well as an exclusive performance for family and friends on a purpose-built stage at the Alton Towers Hotel or Tower Suite at Drayton Manor Theme Park.
These events *do* require an extra class to participate. They are invite only subject to attendance and dependent on which class your child takes.
UKDCC – Street Dance Exams / Introductory Ballet and Tap Exams!

The opportunity for our Street Dance & younger Ballet/Tap students to take an exam. These events *do not* require an extra class to participate. We Invite everyone to attend these events.
ISTD – Ballet, Tap and Modern Exams
For selected students following the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing syllabi in Ballet, Tap and Modern. These exams are invitation only and can only be taken by students 5 years and above. These events *do* require extra exam coaching the month before leading up to the exam.
Summer School!
5 days full of dance with a performance on the Friday evening at Longridge Civic Hall showcasing what the students have learnt in a week.
