Meet the Dance Teaching Assistants
Lauren Bray
Head Teaching Assistant
Miss Lauren started dancing at the age of 6 after deciding she enjoyed it more than gymnastics.
This year she started at Preston’s College Dance, a professional dance college where she is working towards her Diplomas in Dance Education (DDEs) in Ballet, Tap and Modern.
Miss Lauren was also awarded a 100% “Gifted and Talented” Scholarship at PCD. She loves dancing and is enjoying beginning her journey as a teacher at KDA and seeing other children find a love for dance.
Ruby Turner
Trainee Teaching Assistant
Ruby started dancing with us in March, taking part in private lessons and online classes, and after a lot of determination and success Miss Ruby became a teacher in October.
She previously had done Street Dance but since joining King’s has taken part in classes such as Commercial, Jazz, Lyrical, Acro, Tap and Street!
Miss Ruby loves teaching and also loves to see the Academy grow. She is so excited to start dancing and teaching again and can’t wait to see some new faces!
