Meet the Dance Teaching Assistants

You may see some older dancers helping out in the younger classes. These are paid position teachers who are in training to become fully comprehensive teachers in the future. The positions are accepted from 13 onwards and work closely with Miss King in administration and assisting.

 

POPPY SMITH – Assists Street Dance & Jazz

Poppy is in her final year of high school and is looking to continue dancing alongside her A-Levels. Once completed she plans to do further training in dance at a dance college / university. Her dreams are to perform around the world!

EMILY CRABTREE – Assists Acrobatics & Tumbling

Emily is now in her second year at Preston’s College Dance on the Professional Dance and Teachers of Dance course. In this course Emily is working towards her ISTD Teaching Qualifications in Ballet, Tap & Modern. Emily loves assisting in Acrobatics as well as being an impressive Acrobat herself!

CHLOE WHITEHEAD – Assists Ballet, Tap & Irish

Chloe is going into her first year at University studying Psychology, alongside this Chloe is working towards her ISTD Tap Teaching Qualification remotely through North Liverpool Dance College. Chloe was one of the first students to join King’s Dance Academy and had tap private lessons on Zoom!
